Project Overview
Fayetteville, NC – SES provided commissioning services for this Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant. The project consisted of a Jenbacher 850 kW Packaged engine generator with interconnect switchgear, steam heat recovery generator, glycol heat recover loop, 3 heat exchangers and associated pumps for heating of the steam plant make-up water, building heating hot water and domestic water heating. The function of the system is to supply a base load of power to the hospital and provide island mode power to the facility in the event of a utility failure, while utilizing the waste heat from power generation.
