Mystic River Magnet School

Project Overview

Groton, CT – Mystic River Magnet School was constructed as part of the Town of Groton’s “Groton 2020” project, aimed at downsizing the number of elementary schools in town. The theme of this K-5 magnet school is “Active Exploration”, inspiring students to “find the joy in learning by exploring your imagination, through play and ingenuity.” The scope of work included commissioning of all HVAC equipment, hot water heating plant, air handling systems, terminal devices, lab exhaust systems, general exhaust, domestic hot water, fire alarm system, fire protection, lighting controls and building envelope, as well as envelope testing services.
