Marine Science Magnet High School

Project Overview

Groton, CT – Opened on September 1^st, 2011, the Marine Science Magnet High School in Groton, CT is one of few regional marine high schools in the state.  With a focus on marine science, this aqua-vocational high school includes special academic spaces such as state of the art aquatic laboratory classrooms and aquaculture production spaces as well as a media center, administrative areas, gymnasium and cafeteria. SES provided comprehensive construction phase commissioning services including all HVAC systems, geothermal heat pumps, exhaust systems, domestic hot water systems, lighting and lighting controls, emergency generator/ATS, fire protection system, all aquaculture systems and equipment, building automation system, and TAB verification.
