Kingston School District Retro-Commissioning

Project Overview

Kingston, NY – SES was hired as the Retro-Commissioning Authority (RCxA) for the Kingston School District. Our RCx team surveyed approximately 800,000 square feet across five schools in the district: John F Kennedy Elementary School, Chambers Elementary School, Meagher Elementary School, George Washington Elementary School and Kingston High School. During the survey, the physical condition of the equipment, calibration of devices and sensors and programming and operation of the equipment was reviewed. SES’s focus was on finding potential energy savings or energy conservation measures (ECMs). Proposed ECMs throughout the schools included schedule adjustments, differential pressure setpoint resets for pumps, static pressure setpoint resets for air handling unit fans, optimized unoccupied and economizer operation and more.
