Project Overview
Beverly, MA – SES provided commissioning services for the renovation of the Briscoe Middle School built in 1923, into a residential apartment building in Beverly, Massachusetts. With the sustainability goal of LEED® v4.1 Residential BD&C Multifamily Homes, pre-construction commissioning included review of Owners Project Requirements (OPR), Basis of Design (BOD), and commissioning-focused design reviews. The systems commissioned included a central heating boiler plant, a domestic hot water boiler plant, the outside air distribution ERVs, and the common and apartment space heating and cooling systems. Additionally, SES commissioned the HVAC system serving the historic auditorium space.
