Project Overview

Buffalo, NY – SES provided commissioning services for various Energy Savings Measures at the VA Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. The project consisted of upgrades to the existing HVAC systems and building automation system controls. The intent of the project was to optimize building performance with a focus on energy savings and efficient operation. The project consisted of replacing existing 3-way valves with new 2-way valves, new controls, and sensors for the valves, as well as an optimization of the CHW distribution system. Also included was the replacement of energy inefficient Air-Handling Units and their associated Exhaust Fans with new, more efficient units.
