CCSU Barnard Hall

Project Overview

New Britain, CT – SES provided commissioning services for the renovation and addition to Barnard Hall on Central Connecticut State University’s New Britain campus in accordance with the Connecticut High Performance Building Standards. The commissioning scope encompassed all new mechanical equipment in the renovation and addition, including hot and chilled water exchange plants and distribution systems, central station air handling units, air and water terminal devices, and whole building systems (lighting controls, etc.).  The project also included commissioning of the Building Automation System as it related to all mechanical equipment.  Commissioning of the new addition also included all envelope components, such as damp proofing, air-vapor barriers, windows and curtain walls, roof, and the integration between envelope systems.
