Educare Springfield

Project Overview

Springfield, MA – Educare Springfield is an early childhood learning center serving at-risk children through age 5. This new 27,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility brings the outdoors inside, with grass-like carpet and generous amounts of light. One-way mirrors allow for teachers to observe and learn, and smaller bathroom fixtures were designed specifically for use by toddlers. SES was asked to provide commissioning services to meet the Massachusetts Energy Stretch Code. Scope included HVAC, plumbing systems, lighting controls and building automation system.
