Gengras Student Union Troubleshooting

Project Overview

Hartford, CT – SES was asked by the University of Hartford to provide investigative services, troubleshooting, and verification for mechanical failures that occurred in the Gengras Student Union. The concern was related to hydronic coils freezing and bursting, which was a reoccurring condition. SES reviewed the installation and operation of the mechanical equipment and identified several contributing factors that caused the coils to freeze. SES made recommendations to the client to prevent future conditions.
