Project Overview

Hebron, CT – SES provided professional engineering services to meet the indoor air quality (IAQ) verification requirements of the state legislation Public Act No. 23-167 at Hebron Elementary School and Gilead Hill School. This effort successfully completed the required verification as outlined in the legislation. With a focus on validating and improving indoor air quality, SES systematically assessed each air-handling system to measure current ventilation rates, filtration rates, and distribution levels compared to current ventilation standards. Implementing SES’s recommendations will modernize the facility’s HVAC and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with current standards, reducing energy costs, and enhancing occupant comfort and indoor air quality. The proposed upgrades will also streamline maintenance, improve reliability, and future-proof the systems for evolving operational needs.
