Project Overview

Nashua, NH – Monahan Manor is a four-building apartment complex built on the site of the former Bronstein Apartments. This redevelopment was part of an effort to increase the affordable housing inventory in Nashua, providing 206 units designated as affordable housing and 10 market-rate units. In addition to apartments, the complex has a business center and fitness center. SES provided commissioning services for this new construction project for various systems, including the mechanical equipment that will regulate the temperatures of the spaces within the buildings, equipment that will remove undesirable air from the units, and the water heating system for the units. Each apartment has its own Fan Coil Unit heat pump and adjustable wall thermostat to control the space temperature. They have also been provided with a designated water heater to ensure hot water can be delivered efficiently and effectively to all residents. Exhaust fans have been installed in the kitchens and bathrooms of all units to allow the residents to control the air quality of their living space.
