Project Overview
Orlando, FL – SES was selected by RWE as the Commissioning Agent for various Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) at the Lake Nona VAMC and Viera OPC sites, aiming to enhance energy efficiency and operational performance. The project included central plant (Chiller Plant) optimization, interior lighting, steam piping insulation, and water and sewer conservation systems. SES verified the Measurement and Verification (M&V) approaches, including reviewing energy models and ongoing monitoring, to ensure the effectiveness of the implemented measures. Additionally, SES performed comprehensive Retro-Commissioning (RCx) of existing air handling units and the building automation system (BAS), providing insights into the efficiency and operability of the overall systems. This comprehensive project has achieved the desired energy savings and operational improvements, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable facility.
