Ox Ridge Elementary School

Project Overview

Darien, CT – SES provided commissioning services for the newly constructed Ox Ridge Elementary School in Darien, Connecticut. This 2-phase project began with the Academic Wing, opened in 2023, and the Assembly Wing, opened in 2023. SES successfully navigated each phase of the project by keeping communication at the forefront. Regular check-ins with key stakeholders allowed SES to stay apprised of the status of each phase, ensuring our team could mobilize quickly to prevent project delays. With students occupying the original school during Phase 1 and the new Academic Wing during Phase 2, minimizing disruptions and maintaining security were priorities for our team members on site. The scope of work included the hot water heating system, 100% outside air handling units, single-zone rooftop units, VRFs, domestic hot water heating system, emergency generator, lighting control system and building envelope.
