Pleasant Valley Elementary School

Project Overview

South Windsor, CT – Pleasant Valley Elementary School is a newly constructed 102,000 square-foot elementary school including classrooms, gymnasium, media center, cafeteria, and administrative wing. This project wraps up Phase 3 of the South Windsor Public Schools’ 10-year elementary facilities plan. SES provided commissioning services for compliance with the Connecticut High Performance Building Standards that included pre-design, design, construction and post occupancy services.  The scope of work included commissioning of all HVAC equipment, central hot water heating plant, air handling systems, terminal devices, general exhaust, domestic hot water, lighting controls, generator and automatic transfer switch, and building envelope.
