Project Overview
Newburgh, NY – SES provided commissioning services for the Resorts World Hudson Valley Casino. The project consisted of the renovations to a northern section of the Newburgh Mall, including a complete gut renovation and addition of a casino with a gaming floor, 360-degree bar, and high limit gambling area. Beyond the gaming floor, back of house offices and spaces were included in the design, comprising of offices, conference rooms, IT closets, security rooms, cash rooms, armored bay garage and a loading dock. The primary design of the HVAC system included DX cooling / gas heating packaged rooftop units. Many RTUs were single zone controlled, however multi-zone VAV boxes with electric reheat provide modulation to the back of house areas.
