Project Overview
Seymour, CT –SES provided an HVAC system investigation and troubleshooting services at the Town Hall, Police Station, and Library in Seymour, Connecticut. SES was asked to investigate the overall design and operation of the facility’s air handling units, hydronic heating system, and terminal devices due to the ongoing problems of poor temperature and humidity control. The goal of this effort was to examine the current operation of the HVAC systems and equipment and to identify remediation actions and potential opportunities for system optimization and improvements. The functional testing focused on identifying existing sequences of operations, temperature control sensor calibration, and device verification and determining if and what modifications to the system would better serve the current facility usage and needs. Through this investigation, several energy, operational, and informational items were documented.
