Project Overview
Middletown, CT – SES provided retro-commissioning services for Olin Library and Fisk Hall on the Wesleyan University campus. Wesleyan’s Olin Library was initially constructed in 1928 and underwent a significant renovation and expansion in 1980, with continual modifications thereafter. Fisk Hall was originally built in 1904 and has undergone continuous upgrades since. The focus of this effort was to review the operation of the building’s primary systems and equipment and to identify potential retro-commissioning opportunities to improve the facility’s overall energy efficiency. Implemented measures for this project included the installation of VFDs on AHU fan motors, programming static pressure setpoint resets, replacing outside air dampers, and enhancing economizer parameters.
