Voluntary Specification for Field Testing of Newly Installed Fenestration Products, Storefronts, Curtain Walls, and Sloped Glazing Systems

AAMA 502 and 503 can be thought of as a package deal for envelope testing that combines the test standards of ASTM E 783 and ASTM E 1105. AAMA 502 is used to test fenestration products and AAMA 503 is used for storefronts and curtain walls. The AAMA standards provide guidance on selecting specimens, test pressures, interior conditions, and how to apply the ASTM standards in a variety of situations.
